LearningWork Connection is hosting several webinars to provide information and clarity on a variety of workforce development topics geared toward those professionals who work with the Workforce Investment Act youth program.
Participate in these professional development opportunities without having to leave the office. All you need is a computer with Internet access and a phone.
Click on upcoming webinars for topics and their date, time and description. Online registration is available for each webinar.
Size is limited, so register early; participation is on a first come, first served basis. If you have Internet and speaker phone capabilities in your conference room, your entire staff can view the Webinar with one registration.
For those who are not able to participate in a specific webinar, the presentation will be available online after the event. LWC also will provide answers to any questions asked during the webinar that were not covered during the session.
Webinar details
Each Webinar is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Once you complete the online registration form, you will receive an e-mail either accepting or rejecting your registration. Acceptance or rejection is based on capacity; as stated earlier, size is limited.
The e-mails are distributed automatically from WebEx with the contact information of our host sponsor. Please do not contact that individual. If you have questions about the Webinar, please contact Michelle Ball at ball.1893@osu.edu or 614.688.8074.
If your registration is accepted, the e-mail you receive will provide details on how to join the online meeting and the teleconference. You will be allowed to join the meeting 15 minutes prior to the start time. You also will receive an e-mail reminder prior to the Webinar with those details as well as additional information on navigating the Webinar, availability of presentation materials and procedures for posting questions for the presenter to address during the session.
If you receive an e-mail rejecting or declining your registration, you can still view the Webinar beginning the following day. All Webinars will be posted for viewing and will include all the presentation materials for downloading.
