Resource mapping

Identifying a community’s assets and resources – from buildings and programs to people and funding opportunities – is a key component of successful youth development. Resource mapping identifies gaps in and duplications of such assets, enabling a community to allocate its resources for the greatest need.

LearningWork Connection provides leadership and support to organizations and communities performing resource mapping focusing on the development of measurable short-, mid- and long-term outcomes. While we do not perform the mapping activity itself, we help the leaders in a community develop a mapping project that works for them.
