Diana Jackson
Director
Diana Jackson was in her 20th year as a high school educator when she joined The Ohio State University in December 2000, where she has continued to work with and on behalf of youth.
She came to workforce development through her involvement in school-to-work, first as a district school-to-work coordinator and then as a senior research associate for Ohio’s School-to-Work Clearinghouse, the predecessor of LearningWork Connection. She is co-author of several of LWC’s publications, including “Program Design for Performance,” “Procurement for Performance: Contracting and RFPs,” and “WIA Youth Program Elements” in the Focused Futures Youth Development System Builder series. She is also a frequent speaker to Ohio and national audiences on Workforce Investment Act youth program issues.
Diana is a native of Springboro, Ohio, and has a B.S. in Education and an M.A. in English from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She lives with her two daughters, three cats, one dog, and a thousand or so books in Columbus.
